Powerful tasks

• Planning and realising your own technical concepts and solutions
• Ensuring the availability of our backbone
• Setting up the network components and dedicated lines
• Installation, configuration and administration of Juniper (JunOS), Arista and Cisco (IOS/XR) routers and switches
• Designing the SpaceNet network infrastructure
• Dealing with the latest generation of Fortigate firewalls for the security aspect within the product portfolio
• Maintenance, expansion, migration, optimisation and documentation of corresponding solutions

Smart requirements

• Completed degree in computer science or technical training
• Enthusiasm for the administration of switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers
• Good network knowledge (Ethernet and IPv4/IPv6)
• Excellent handling of scripting languages and certifications in the network environment
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• Service-orientated, assertive, team player and strong communicator
