Fraud attempt with our company name
How do cyber criminals lure potential applicants?
- Fraudsters contact people to recruit them as software testers for the company SpaceNet. They then lure applicants to a fake website - the address provided and the company do not exist.
- During the application process on the site (including video identification), unusually detailed personal information is requested - with the aim of stealing identity and data (job scamming).
The data obtained is usually misused to withdraw money or open bank accounts.
How do you recognise fraud?
To put it bluntly:
👉 We never ask for sensitive data before there has been a personal meeting or in the first step of the application process.
👉 And: Our communication always takes place via official channels and traceable senders.
If you receive a suspicious message - please do not respond.
We have already filed a complaint and are working with the relevant authorities.
